Brian Richard Urbano, 41, of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, January 5, 2023, following a brave fight against brain cancer. Visitation will be 9:30-11:00 AM with a Funeral Mass starting at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 12, at Queen of the Holy Rosary, 7023 West 71st Street, Overland Park, Kansas, 66204. Brian was born on June 12, 1981 in Chicago, Illinois. He was a father, a beloved son, and a selfless brother. Brian was a kid at heart who always put other’s needs ahead of his own. He was a lover of music, gaming, and comics, and a talented guitarist. Brian is survived by his son Rylan, parents Angelina and Richard Urbano, brother Nick and wife Kristin Urbano, and niece Izzy Urbano.

Brian’s family would like to thank his Oncologist Dr. Amandeep Kalra and his staff, the staff at Research Medical Center and the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center, all of the medical caregivers that have helped these past few months, Crossroads hospice, and all of the family, friends, and neighbors that have expressed condolences and support during this time.
